Frog Tape for painting is unbelievable. seriously.

I've been painting for years and while I am not a professional, I usually get pretty good results. The bain of my existence has always been trimming out straight lines.

That is until this tape came along.

FrogTape is seriously the most amazing product I've ever used. It makes your lines perfect on just about any surface, I mean, look at this hardwood floor:

There is absolutely no way I would have gotten that kind of result with regular painters tape, on an extremely rough surface no less!!!!! 

I can't give enough praises for this tape, it has changed the way I think about painting and has given me a whole world of opportunities to explore!

Windows 8 is NOT a new strategy.

When you hear about Windows 8 from the reviews online you constantly hear words like New, Fresh, Beautiful, Amazing and Innovative. They are all describing the new interface Microsoft likes to call "Metro."

The whole point of Windows 8 is to share the same experience and a completely uniform environment between PC, Tablet and Phone. I just can't think of a single other thing in life that uses the same tools for very different jobs.

I have been using the Windows 8 consumer preview for a week now and it has struck me as silly.

Contrary to popular belief, Windows is trying nothing new, nothing innovative. They are doing EXACTLY what they did with the old Windows Mobile OS, but this time in reverse. Instead of suping' up Windows Mobile and trying to make it look and work like a PC, they are dumbing down Windows and trying to make it into Windows Mobile. It will not and cannot work.

How to write an Apple Keynote critique in 2012

Anarchy and Libertarianism, is there a difference?

Question: Is it a contradiction to be both a libertarian and an anarchist? 

Not if you look at the definition of libertarianism and anarchism.  Libertarianism’s main tenet is that no person has the right to initiate the use of violence against anyone else.  There are libertarians who don’t take this tenant to the extreme… they are minarchists, endorsers of democracy, or endorsers of republicanism (as in representative government, not the political party).
